Pros And Cons Of Doing Your Taxes

It’s that time of the year again. Luckily you have a few more days to file your tax returns this year, as Tax Day has been pushed back to April 18, 2016, rather than April 15, 2016. That gives you a few extra days to ponder the big question: Is it even worth it? Here are some of the pros and cons of doing your taxes this year.

Pro: Not being imprisoned for tax evasion

Con: Can’t finish the new season of Archer on Netflix

Pro: I feel like you could just write “Panama” on most of the lines and be cool for this year.

Con: But like, maybe not. I don’t know, the whole thing seems pretty messed up.

Pro: Wesley Snipes didn’t pay his taxes and came out of jail more ripped than he was in Blade.

Con: Wesley Snipes would totally call you a nerd if he knew you were doing this.

Pro: My cousin wrote “69” for every number once and he went to jail for a totally different thing.

Con: My buddy J-Dawg got audited once and he said it sucked real hard.

Pro: You can put a Post-It note in there for things you want your taxes to go to, like: “pothole on 2nd Ave” or “more chicken fingers in school lunches.”

Con: You can’t have your taxes go toward an Everclear laser show, I already checked.

Pro: You can easily do your own taxes through websites like TurboTax.

Con: You failed accounting in high school, and again in junior college.

Pro: You’ll have peace of mind knowing that you’ve fulfilled one of your obligations as a citizen of the United States of America.

Con: You’re a citizen in the United States of America.

Kyle Scanlan is just going to mail his dad some shit and hope for the best.
