New App Allows Users To Text Themselves During Parties

HOUSTON - Apple today unveiled a new app that allows users to text themselves during parties and other events, which they hope will revolutionize the way people are anti-social in public.

In a press conference to reporters, the creators of the Antisocial application said the new app will truly change the way we don’t talk to each other. The application may be free, but using it does come at a small price for users, as testers of the application have reported a decrease in new friendships and small talk with strangers.

John McDonald, a 31 year tester of the Antisocial application, told reporters while he would usually have no need for an application that allows him to text himself, there are still occasions when one would certainly find the application useful.

“My roommate asked me I wanted to meet up with some of his work friends at a bar, but I didn’t know any of these people,” said McDonald, adding that he had once listened to a stranger talk about the weather for nearly three minutes at a similar social gathering. “Luckily, I had downloaded Antisocial. The night went really smooth. I couldn’t even tell you any of those people’s names.”
