MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Following an extensive four-month-long search, local design firm DevPop has tasked communications major Dave Wilson, 20, with ruining their online reputation.

“After reviewing hundreds of applicants it really came down to who we thought could best handle the demands of the position,” said DevPop’s Chief Innovation Officer Greg Merkett. “One look at Wilson’s poorly managed social media accounts made it clear to us that he was our guy.”

With competition for steady employment continuing to grow in America, job seekers are doing whatever they can to try and get an edge. The chance to gain real workplace experience tweeting racial epithets or sharing fake news stories from an employer’s Facebook page while still in school is more important now than ever.

Wilson, who is in the third year of his undergraduate program at Marquette University, fully understands the significance of landing this gig and what it could do for his career.

“This is a huge break for me and I’m not going to waste it,” Wilson said as he put the finishing touches on a press release containing 47 misspelled words and 23 grammatical errors. “I know that if I stay focused and work hard enough someday I could be the one in charge,” Wilson continued, moments before sharing a photo of his genitals with DevPop’s 13,000 Instagram followers.
