Durant’s 66 Points at Rucker Park, Outshines DeShawn Stevenson’s Triple Double at Dallas Correctional Facility

NEW YORK — Kevin Durant took the basketball world by storm last night by scoring 66 points at Harlem’s famous Rucker Park.  The Oklahoma City Forward now joins the company of other NBA greats like Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlin, and Julius Erving, who have all taken the court at Rucker Park.

After the game, Durant tweeted: “No lie, jus had one of the best times of my life at Rucker park..wow! I love NY…Harlem waddup.”

With the NBA lockout more than a month old, most players are looking to get court time wherever they can.  Durant isn’t the only NBA player to have a great game last night, as Dallas Maverick, DeShawn Stevenson, had a triple double at the Dallas Correctional Facitlity, where he is currently serving time for whatever he got arrested for this month.

Stevenson was “disappointed” his first career triple double didn’t receive much attention, as it fell on the same night as Durant’s spectacular 66 points at Rucker Park.  After the game, Stevenson tweeted: “No BS, just had my first career triple double! Gotta go back in tho. Meatloaf and cornbread for dinner! #23hoursaday”

Stevenson’s phone he tweeted from was later taken from him and he is now facing more charges for having a cellular phone inside his cell.

After winning the NBA Championship, Stevenson displayed a homemade t shirt taking a shot a Miami Heat forward, LeBron James. Later that night he was arrested for public intoxication.

“I didn’t have problem with Durant, but this is bullshit.  This was supposed to be my night, now he’s on Sportscenter and I’m in the hole for the next day.  Wait till arts and crafts, I’m gonna make a t shirt about his ass,” said Stevenson.
