Chicago Bulls Fans Disappointed To Learn That Winning A Regular Season Game Isn’t The Same As Winning A Championship

CHICAGO – Following the Chicago Bulls snapping of the Miami Heat’s 27-game winning streak on Wednesday, Bulls fans were disappointed to learn that winning a regular season NBA game is not the same as winning a championship.

“FUCK LEBRON! GO BULLS!” shouted Chicago resident Mitch Dennis, as he dumped beer down the front of his shirt. “If the Heat are so great, then how did we beat them? We are obviously the best team in the league now! Fuck LeBron!”

Before Wednesday’s loss, the defending champion Miami Heat had the best record in the league and the second-longest winning streak in NBA history. Following their heavily celebrated win, the Bulls are now only 17.5 games back in the Eastern Conference with just 12 games left in their season.

“To be honest, I really haven’t watched a lot of Bulls games this year since Rose has been out,” said lifelong Bulls’ fan Benjamin Gore. “I probably got too excited. I guess I completely forgot that winning a regular season game doesn’t mean that much, especially when you’ve lost 13 of last 22 games.”

At press time, the city of Chicago had reported an extra 23 unnecessary murders on Wednesday.
